Antique F. Legrand & Co Limoges porcelain lidded serving dish decorated by GD & Cie circa 1883-1893. Lovely green band, blue floral design and gilt handles.
F. Legrand & Co produced porcelain tableware from 1865-1949, the mark showing a star encompassed by two half-moons was utilized between 1870 and 1949. GD & Cie (Gustave Demartial or Demartine & Co) was in business from 1883-1893. Porcelain marked "Avenir" was decorated by G. Demartine's own artists.
