Antique Rudolph Ditmar decorative pottery plates or wall plaques with polychrome eagle and flag decoration and gilded details. Circa 1879 - 1910 in Znaim, Monrovia, Austria. Each marked; One with ink mark and the other with impressed flower petals mark.
Ditmar started the pottery in 1879 in Znaim, so his mark, RDZ, stands for Rudolf Ditmar Znaim. Znaim was ceded to Czechoslovakia in 1918 and renamed Znojmo.

Damage or Points of Notice: Both plates are in excellent antique condition. The rims were once gilded however this has worn away. The underside of one plate along the foot shows a subtle firing crack/line which is on the surface and does not affect the structure. No other imperfections noted. Please see photos.
